Iv spent many saturdays and sundays at this time of day getting pleasantly wrecked, in Mcsorleys, with out any trouble.

Good plan, Keith. Count me in. God knows, if anyone is left standing after dinner, we can venture even further east and hit Bua's and St. Dymphna's, then there are lots of places of a more... "alternative" ...nature...
If you're coming from GCT, the easiest thing to do is to stay on the No. 6 until Bleeker St. and transfer there to the downtown F train. Go one stop and you're at 2nd Avenue and 2nd Street (be on the back of the train).

And this shall be for music, when no one else is near; The fine song for singing, the rare song to hear; That only I remember, that only you admire; Of the broad road that stretches and the roadside fire. (RL Stevenson)

Count me in.
If you're taking the No. 6 train down from GC (as I shall be doing), just get off at Astor Place and walk two blocks east to 2nd Avenue. It'll be easier than transfering and you'll get to enjoy the ambience of St. Marks Place (= 8th Street) along the route.

Ok so I make the count as follows:
Keith A.
Galician
SexyButler
Bayside Boy
NewYorkBen
Dalmore
Cirthalion
Cirthalion's Lady
AJ
Chef
If you are coming and not on the list please make your self known by post or PM. We want to try and give Swifts an accurate (as possible) number for the reservation. It's not fair to ask them to hold tables we won't use and they may not be able to accommodate too many extras comfortably. The reason I mention it is both of these have happened in the past.
I'll edit this post with any additions so it doesn't need to be reposted again and again.

I believe I counted myself in some time ago, Chef, and my wife is also likely to attend.

You did sir; I just wanted everyone to confirm now that we have the times and places planned. You and your lovely lady are added to the list.
