Eventually I'll have kids, I'm way to maternal as is and I think the guys in my apartment breezeway are getting tired of me telling them to go to class and wash their dishes. I doubt if I'll have more than two weens though.

We have four small children at home. The oldest and only girl will be 6 this summer. Then I have three boys that are ages 4, nearly 3, and 8 months. We also lost a boy in the womb between nos. 3 and 4. Our eight years of marriage have been very productive!
The wife and I still have plenty of child bearing years ahead of us, so who knows what the future might bring!
I'll echo the sentiments of the poster who said don't bother waiting till you are "financially ready." Truth is you never think you have enough money to support children, no matter how much you earn, and the truth is also that people of all incomes somehow manage to make it work every day. My wife is a stay-at-home mom, so our family income comes from my humble museum curator salary and the extra income from the kiltmaking. We do just fine, so it is possible to make it happen!
We also advise people to start a family when you are young and have the enegery to chase the kids around, and the stamina to handle waking up at all hours of the night. Plus, with any luck, you'll be able to enjoy future grandkids while you are still young enough to run around and play with 'em. :-)

I voted no, because I don't have any children (that I know of ), however I'm not completely against the thought of having one. BUT, I am getting old and there are no likely prospects right now, so I probably won't have any.
I guess I'll just have to spoil my nephew. I can always give him back when I'm done with him.

One boy (7) and one girl (5).
Most difficult job in the world, but by far the most rewarding. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Ditto,
I'm a stay at home Dad. Though there are times that I fondly remember getting dressed up and going to my nice clean desk (that remained exactly like I left it the evening before) and talking with other grown ups, it is still the best job in the world. My son not only wear kilts but they each have a small collection of them already and are taking SCD to boot!
Cheers
