Man don't scare me like that. A guy who has your kind of talent shouldnt be making his last kilt till an hour after they shove him in his coffin. Great work!

I'm no sure if I'll be able to do any good by that time, but I always felt, I'll say, ..Hm... particular discomfort in my ..Hm...lower back. Can't tell you is it for a good or bad, but pushing me forward at least.

Good-looking kilt, but I'm a little biased - the Maple Leaf I'm working on now is pleated almost exactly the same way.

And which way is it ,Sir? I made two in Maple Leaf lately to different stripe, as I stated in this tread earlier.

    Alex.
I pleated to the same stripe, but this lefty made all the pleats open to left.
My first three handsewns have "normal" right-handed pleats; I felt like being a little different this time.

Ok, so did I get it right, you pleated this one to the left? May I ask why?

    1. I felt like making a kilt entirely left-handed, as opposed to the switching back and forth I've done with my other handsewns.
    2. I want to test the theory that a left-handed kilt won't get as wrinkled getting into a car as a regular right-handed kilt.
    3. Why not?
