    On my home computer, the first proposed Xmarks Hunting looks green and fantastic. At work, it looks charcoal-coloured, and unattractive. So, it's not just dye lots that vary and change tartans.

    (I am still not sure that it was a serious proposal so much as fooling around with the tartan generator.)

    On my computer, Hothir's Xmarks Hunting has a dark olive green background, that's what I really liked about it.

    Example of the "your monitor may vary" scenario.

    I remember several posts made during the various original Xmarks tartan design and weaving where swatches of the yarn were shown to demonstrate the colors...very cool.
