I'm sure that in the ALMOST YEAR that has passed since this unfortunate incident Robertson has somehow managed to pull himself together. I imagine it took many, many, many, many, many drams of good whisky* to somehow be able to fight back the tears and put this kilt behind him. Though it says much about a garment that after ALMOST A YEAR since it's passing, that people from halfway around the globe still express their condolences.
Let us have a moment of silence for the memory of this lost kilt.
Better yet, let us let this thread stand without further additions as a testimonial to the great love between a Man and the memory of his kilt...
With all due respects to the departed.

* So he probably still would have had them anyway, but at least this gave him a good reason.

A proper funeral is in order -- a piper, a poem, and a pint.

I might have night terrors over this one. A good kilt PV, wool, cotton or whatever is a bummer to have it rendered out of the service it was intended for.
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

Sorry. I just hope there were no young, innocent children viewing those sad photos.
But there is always that silver lining--you get a new kilt!

Sad day indeed "Flowers of the forest" would be proper right now.
