Who wears a kilt everyday?

New guy here...

I wear my kilts fairly often, but usually not during the winter. Before I ore kilts I didn't wear shorts in the winter, pants just make sense to me at that time of year. Still, I wear my kilts even in the "off season" when the occasion calls for it. (Some situations demand the kilt, no matter the weather.) Once the weather breaks about 60 and stays there, I start pulling the kilts out of the closet.

Speaking of which- I had better start losing my winter layer, or my kilts might not fit this year!

I have this fear of being taken for a costume if I don't wear my kilt to some sort of Scottish event. Although, I admit to wearing only sassenach clothing to Scottish Walk in Alexandria, VA.

I'd like to wear the kilt more often. On the other hand, it is not really courtly dress. They are trying to get away from wigs and robes, I'd ahte to see what would happen if I showed up in Court on the Western Circuit wearing a kilt (even in Cornwall).
