Oops. I guess calling a Scott a Limey would be insulting. My apologies Alex. For some reason I thought you were a Britt.
Thanks for the correction Glen.

There would have been plenty of Scots onboard the ships when lime juice was important,so I think and I have always thought, that the term Limey covered the whole of the British Isles, not just the English.I can't say I like the expression much, but I can see that the Brits. are going to have nicknames and there are worse names than that about,so I can live with it.
Now,I remember well, the many many thousands of GI's that were here, eventually, during WW2 and I was always told that we were to NEVER EVER to call them Yanks to their faces, anyway. So is it offensive to call Americans Yanks?Or,is it a name you have to learn to live with like us Limeys(Limies?)?

My wife was saying the same thing the first time she saw the results. Well she did not say boyish, but definitely younger and gave the decision a thumbs-up.

As with the Limeys, it depends on the Yankee. Ever heard of Yankee Stadium? The new York Yankees?

If you are a yankee ((You live north of the Mason Dixon Line) it's OK.
If you live south of the line, you might take offense at being called a yankee.

Lovely pics; would have liked to see more of the 25, as that is what my dad flew in WWII.
