Well to my eyes the whole thing works a treat and illustrates perfectly that this matching thing is not necessarily the only way to go. Well done laddie and thank you for supporting a very worthy cause.

Well done, Joshua! There are so many things I love about your outfits. The Caledonia tartan is one of my favorites! I love that shade of blue of your Mackie. I am a great fan of monk strap shoes. Your shirt is spot on!
That is one suggestion. A wee dandelion in your crest badge!

Thanks! The shoes are the most comfortable I've ever owned, in the unstructred line made by Clark's... think these are the un Morris ones with the strap. I've begged and pleaded with their customer service folks to extend their wide shoe line to some of their more classic shoe styles to no avail...
And yes, I'm such a fan of the Caledonia tartan I have two... one 8 yard from sho and a casual from usa kilts.
