I know you'll have a wonderful time, as I'm sure will those you pass the invite for the movie party along to.

Thanks, Alan. I've heard Louis Lortie here in Victoria. He's originally from Quebec and is known for his Ravel interpretationsl. The concerto has an interesting background. It was commissioned by an Austrian pianist who lost his right arm in the Great War, as you probably know. Enjoy the concert!

That sounds like more fun to me Alan. Being part of the entertainment for a bunch of entertainers, or be entertained? Not a hard question for me.

The President of our Saint Andrews society makes/sells real Haggis in the US (they can't ship it from Scotland other than the stuff in the can due to animal organ laws?)
He is shipping a sh*t load of Haggis to California for this event.
Wow, this movie has gotten Alan and other athletic guys involved. Barb and other kiltmakers, and Ron thurston and his Maine Haggis. This movie rocks!

The Highlander Warriors historical re-enactment group is also going to be there....so are the cammanach'd players. There have GOT to be some pipers but I don't know who they are.

Barb, the instructions to the "entertainment"...us....VERY explicity says "no pictures". I'm bummed.

However, I will share this picture of the actual venue at which this thing is going to be held, and no, I'm not kidding. This really exists.

I SWEAR I am not making this up. It's killing me that I can't go.

What is it and where is it? Appears to be a winery of some sort?
