It looks like instead of using straps, velcro, snaps or buttons you are using an attached web belt as a closure. Is that correct? I like that idea A LOT! I can see where that would give you almost infinite adjustability.

Sunflash,
Welcome back from another Alaskan. My coworkers and I at Anchorage Center would have worked your ride back to Eielson.
I missed this thread when it was first posted but have just reviewed it . . . great kilts!

Glad you're back safe and sound, Zack.
The piccies from your posts a year ago are amazing. Don't be surprised if the DIY'ers on the forum pester you for more pics and "how to's". The two tone inserts (Pittsburg Kilts, we saw them there but yours are different).
Thanks for checking back in.
BTW. I lived on Eilson AFB when I was in Jr. High (1966-1969). Even though that was so long ago that you weren't even BORN yet, I STILL have very vivid mempries of the Fairbanks / North Pole area. Good memories. It was a great place to live as a kid!!

As a DIY Selfer, here I am, pestering you. My next project is a two tone kilted mini skirt-I would love a pictorial to help me along. Please, please, please! I missed this thread, given that I was not a member, when it was posted initially. The next time you sew up a two tone kilt, please take a picture of each step and post with a little blurb about the process-I would greatly appreciate it.
I must second everyone's thanks for your service and pleasure that you are back in one piece.
Be well,
