Yes... We are of the Earth; we ar one with the Earth.
I also make ceramic sculptures, LOL!
I have two Nephews, one of which is my niece. My male nephew is about six and he probably plays in the mud, but I just met him last year so I don't know. My niecephew used to play in the mud, but she is seventeen now and would rather be getting tatoos.
I think the younger neph would play in the mud if it were on a Game Boy or what ever they are.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Sorry String, this post was too long, personal, and boring, so I'm pruning it back. I won't be raising and milking minature goats though, and I won't be using a milk pasteurizer for the goat milk I don't have...

We had goats, but we never pasteurized the milk, I still can't drink straight cows milk from the store. I guess I got spoiled.

Goat cheese...
I didn't grow up on a farm though, so I probably don't know a whole lot.

Guess I could get some extra long t-shirts to wear with my kilts while gardening.

Well, there are California poppies that have come up out there, but they aren't blooming yet. I like mums; I might plant some this year.
* I'm moving this here from my post in another thread.
My grapefruit are very sweet. The problem with the grapefruit down here is that they grow a very thick skin, and it also leaves a layer of that bitter inside skin on the meat of the grapefruit when you peal it. If you slice the fruit in half and eat the meat with a spoon, it's fine. They make good juice too. The grapefruit juce from the store is no where as sweet as the stuff off the trees; I mean like two yard acrylic kilts compared to hand sewn eight yard wool scottish kilts. Ohhh, and the navel oranges..., but we can use sour orange rootstocks here, and that's mostly why they're so good.
The funny thing is that I've gotten used to eating the pealed grapefruit with the bitter layer, and I usually eat them that way because I don't want to have to take a knife and spoon out to the tree, LOL! Like I said, it's the lifestyle of a bug.
