Instead of composing my own answer, go back to page 1 of this thread and re-read Tattoo Bradley's reply. My story is exactly like his.

That's a good question, but I don't remember. Guess I'm getting old(er).

One day I was bitten by the sudden desire to wear a kilt. Dont know where it came from or why. (Might help to have some Scottish blood in me). I was searching the internet for hours looking for info and before I found xmarks i bought an ebay special. . . . . Upon more searching xmarks came up. I lurked for a bit but then decided to join because it seemed like fun. Now I am an addict. . . . . . suppose there are worse things to be addicted to!

I was doing research to improve the design on how I make kilts, I found Matt Newsome's site and found the link there.

Leaving Scotland in '04 at the Glasgow airport. I picked up a 'Saltire' T-shirt. At Gradfather's Mountain Games last summer at one of the vendors (Clan Mac Bubba?)I spied a sweater n the similar 'Saltire' motiff, but in closer inspection saw X Marks the Scot along the Cross. Googling it when I got home, I was lead here and haven't left!
