I am happy to try to meet up with any of the rabble if they are in or near Fort William. A Good place is the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge about 8 miles east of FW on the main A82 Inverness/FW road.

I'm planning on see the Commando Memorial. I'm also going to stop in Fort William to see the West Highland Museum. Would enjoy meeting you if its convenient.

Sounds good, let's see what we can do nearer the time. By the way the Cameron museum is about 4 miles away from the Commando Memorial.Well worth a short visit.

Time permitting, I will try to do so. Thanks for the suggestion.
I'll be in touch before we leave in mid-July. We'll be passing by the Memorial on our way from Inverness to Fort William on 20 July- and I had planned to stop anyway.

Crawford Clan
Add me to the list gentlemen. I just completed my round trip flight reservations and have already reserved my place in the Crawford Castle for the Homecoming. I'm staying in Scotland almost a month so I can do an Elderhostle tour too. This may be my final trip over so I'm making a big deal out of it.
July 21 Arrive in Edinburgh
July 22-29 Homecoming and various tours
July 29-August 10 - living in Glasgow
Aug 11 - 18 Elderhostle tour and Edinburgh Tattoo

For anyone still undecided whether to attend, I see they have now discounted the one day ticket price. Here is the link if you want to take advantage of the special offer.

Could have saved money if I had waited, but when I booked earlier in the year this had been expected to be a sellout.
