I'd definitely choose 16oz as I'd probably have it done as a box pleat.

I'd also go for a 16oz. If it is $20/yd I will go for enough for 2 kilts whether it be single or double width.

I've started a thread specifically for the Cthulu tartan in order to do two things:
1) get the input of kiltmakers to make sure there wouldn't be any 'issues' with the sett itself.
2) get people's estimated yardage requirements.
The goal would be to commission DC Dalgliesh to weave a double width run.

Thanks for doing that, sir!
This is where the thread splits then. Any discussion related to Artificer's "Cthulhu" tartan is moving to the new thread mentioned above.
And as for THIS thread..... Muhuhuhuhahahahahahaha....

Cthulhu fhtagn!

And with strange aeons even death may die.

Ok guys, you see what you've done?
You set me back many therapy sessions. My shrink almost had me convinced that they weren't real but now I've doubting.
Just in case I ordered a few books. Had to get this one -
What to Do When You Meet Cthulhu: A Guide to Surviving the Cthulhu Mythos
You can never be too careful. It's all just a cover up by the Illuminati agents in the government to keep the truth hidden.
