I believe that would make you a "Sharp Dressed Man." Already feel the need to say sorry but just couldn't help myself.
I do personally like the look of a hairy sporran for formal wear but personally prefer the one's where the bottom of the hair isn't cut straight across like it seems like so many are done. I'm sure there is a reason it's done this way but just not what I prefer.

That's what you get for having a goat hair sporran these days One of the members of the forum has a black one from the same source

So many cantles made today are garish and/or untraditional-looking, but your sporran on the left has a modern cantle which is lovely, which has an Edwardian look to it. I also like the fact that you forwent tassels.

Here's one with similar hair, back in the old days

And the one on the right has a lovely vintage cantle, with the usual three knobs. (I started a thread some time ago on the topic of why old civilian sporrans and military sporrans have either no knobs, or three knobs, while modern civilian sporrans have one knob. It's the strange sort of minutiae that interests me.)

Here's a photo of the hairy sporran that Artificer recently made for me:

Re: What's the story on the huge hairy sporrans

Clearly Richard and Mike (Downunder Kilt) are men of discriminating taste, since they both own mohair sporrans of the kind I would like to own.
Maybe it’s because I am familiar with angora goats, but to me it doesn’t look as if someone scalped an angel, Santa Claus or Lady Godiva.
David Pope is a man who sets a high standard of Scottish dress, but I just feel that the black tassels on his mohair sporran don’t quite look right.
I also like the coyote model.
The Hieland Coo sporran also looks pretty smart to my eyes, even though the Cousin It label doesn’t seem out of place
    Regards,
    Mike

Perhaps you might start another thread and do a proper review of it for us?
Re: the Highland Cow sporran from Mystical Moon:

When you open the gussetted pouch, you have a rectangular opening 5.5" x 3". The pouch is 7" deep, and 7" across at the widest point. There is a substantial leather loop on the backside that would accept up to a 1.75" sporran strap or belt. It is held on by heavy brass rivets.

Mine is very well and heavily constructed, and is entirely hand-stitched (other than for the aforementioned rivets). I'd buy another from them in a heartbeat...!
