Oh, I am so sorry I didn't heed Barb's warning. It seemed perfectly okay to have that second glass of wine, then I got a bit woozy when I clicked on the link. Now my head hurts so I think I'll go to bed and try to forget that image....
EPITAPH: Decades from now, no one will know what my bank balance looked like, it won't matter to anyone what kind of car I drove, nor will anyone care what sort of house I lived in. But the world will be a different place, because I did something so mind bafflingly eccentric that my ruins have become a tourist attraction.

If a friend were to give me that jacket, I would seriously have to wonder if they really liked me.

I dunno, it's kind of nice in a "color blind MacFrankenstein" way. It would probably go great with those seersucker pants with lobsters embroidered on that Brooks Brothers comes out with....every....year....ughh.

I'm ordering one.
I've found my Doc Martens brogues (black-n-white) in the closet and I will be dancing in the aisles at The English Beat . Maybe Philly in Jan. or more likely Indianapolis in May.
But then I'm not pretending that I'm Cock o' the North on a daily basis and can wear different and appropriate things to different events.
Scott (artificer), you with me?

If I should suddenly become flush with spending money I'll jump right on it. Maybe the 'after Christmas' sale will make it more do-able.
(I'm financially committed to a few big projects right now. )
Otherwise, I'll be sporting my standard ivory and black houndstooth jacket. BTW: where did you find the 2011 dates for The Beat? I can only find up through early Feb.

Scroll down on the link, there's a "Share your thoughts..... section and they have posted the following.
Four new dates Just Announced! 5/21 Indianapolis IN, 5/22 St Louis MO, 5/24 Albuquerque NM, 5/25 Tucson AZ.
I would imagine the May 21 show in Indy is best for you, a 6 hour drive perhaps? It's maybe 7 1/2 for me, not including any delays at the border. I have a friend in Indy, if I can park my trailer in his driveway for the weekend I'll haul it and sleep there.

Oh, if only we could turn back time...that jacket surely would've made a cameo appearance in "So I Married an Axe Murderer."
