Bruichladdich 40 Year Old at I believe around the A$2500 a bottle. Fortunately our State Goverment brought down its budget last night and allowances were made the for the Governor's drinks cabinet.

Fellow members, the Quaich received a grand send off from Melbourne last night at the 60th Annual Scottish Societies and Clans Ball. At least 50 people toasted from the Quaich and photos are currently being upload for your pleasure (may take a while)

The Quaich is now making its way to Northern Tasmania, where Graham will be hosting it.

It's been a pleasure having the vessel in this port and I hope it continues its journey around the world bringing as much enjoyment and warm wishes as it did here in Melbourne

The start of all the happy toasters. Most of the toating was done with Glenmorangie but I believe the odd Talisker was slipped into the Quaich
