Harlan, that is such an impish smile! How can you have such a smile without Okiwen's presence? Also, I noticed you seem to have matched the colour of your shirt with your kilt.....Thistledubh from last year would be proud (she who matched her pin cushion with her kilt)!

On Wednesday night, we had Kilt Night at Piggy Pat's BBQ. Ian boldly wore the infamous tartan tights!

That's a great photo! Bravo to Ian wearing the tights. Where are the tights now?

The Tartan Tights
The location of the tartan tights will be under review for quite some period of time. This period will end well before the next Kilt Kamp.
I did resist the temptation to follow the example set by the trophy for which the Australia and England teams compete in test match cricket.

XMTS teaches much about formal kilt wear, but otherwise,
... the kilt is clothes, what you wear with it should be what you find best suits you and your lifestyle. (Anne the Pleater) "Sometimes, it is better not to know the facts" (Father Bill)

Good to see everybody having such fun and producing such lovely kilts! Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants has nothing on those tights!
While I wish I were there with you, my sole consolation is that Bobbie is also not there -- which means you are not enjoying her fresh plum coffee cake each morning, a highlight (for me) of last summer's Kamp!

I am almost scared to ask what happened to that trophy.....

Ian
I admire your fortitude in not burning them. I hope you didn't hear the score and result while having a lovely evening with the Kampers?
You all look fantastic at the BBQ
