Antarctica Tartan Cloth Available Now
I know most have seen the pics of the beautiful Antarctica tartan kilt that Barb Tewksbury sewed up a while back (use search if you haven't).
Know some have been interested in owning their own Antarctic tartan kilt.
Just got an email today from the Antarctic Heritage Trust that the fabric is available.
Dear Mr. Macdonald
I now have the [Antarctic] tartan in stock! Perhaps you could let me know exactly how much you would like. It is medium weight [13 ounce] double width. It is £39 per metre. But I can sell it by the yard. Shipping (air mail postage) would be extra.
I look forward to hearing from you.
yours Rachel

The fabric is woven by Dalgliesh Mills. A beautiful tartan for sure.
I'm sure you, or your kiltmaker can obtain it from the Trust or the mill.
