2 Arctic Fox Sporrans
Recently I picked up some arctic fox pelts for a rather good price. I decided I would give a shot a making them into a sporran. I decided to make two different ones, since the pelt was so large. I decided on a formal sporran with cantle and a semi/formal with a leather flap (my personal favorite). This pelt was much more difficult to work with than a red fox or silver fox pelt. The fur is extremely thick and wants to "poof" in every direction. It took me quite sometime to get these to work right. I am still trying to get the magnet on the leather flap sporran to hold well (fur is too thick, but I have some ideas). I really like the black and white colors with the semi-formal. Let me know what you think.
