Waistcoat/kilt outfit help
Hello all!!
I'm trying to put together a kilt outfit for a party. I think a tshirt is too informal but a jacket is too much so I plan on paring a shirt/waistcoat and tie probably.
I'm pretty new to kilt wear (I've only been to two weddings)
I was wondering if I can wear a suit waistcoat with the kilt?
I'm not in bonnie Scotland at the moment and don't have access to kilt related clothing
I have a simple day to day black sporran, cream and black hose, blackwatch kilt and flashes and some red flashes. The plan was just to go for a nice white shirt, black waistcoat and then a green or red tie. Chances are I'll wear the cream hose anytime I've tried the black they are just make everything too dark but maybe they will go well with the white shirt.
Any advice is much appreciated.
