Kilt availability ?
Hello there lady's and gents , my name is Kevin and i have just moved from Scotland and my hometown of Glasgow , i am now living and working in Denver CO. I moved here to wed and be with my fiance who is from CO, we are set to get married on July 1st and trying to get everything organized. I and my other friends and family will be wearing kilts for the big day and although we have many many kilt shops back home i did not have the time nor money or baggage allowance to be carrying over a full outfit. So my question to you is.... Where is the best place to rent kilts out?? I am looking for the Grey Spirit Tartan or similar with full attire , How much for rental ? will be looking to dress at least 4 men. Any advice and help on this matter is much appreciated.
PS. any of ma bros from back home fancy a pint or five drop me a wee note would love to catch up for some good banter over a swally.

I've used the Scottish Tartan Museum, great service but their range of tartans is limited. http://giftshop.scottishtartans.org/rent.html

Welcome
Not being in your part of the country I'm afraid I can't be of much help with the rental shops near you.
But would like to welcome you to Xmarks, from Roseville California!

Welcome from a Whidbey Islander currently residing in the middle of nowhere.
I'm in Denver every few months, but can't help you on this one. The only place I knew of closed their store quite a while back. There are quite a few members in your area though, and I'm sure they'll chime in soon!

Hello and welcome from the highlands of BC. Can't help you a whit with your attire, but congrats on your upcoming nuptuals.

Welcome from Chicago.
A local Denver person would know best, but it's possible that there is not a local kilt shop in Denver. Chicago only has one and I am not even sure that any of the Chicago rabble do business there.
Your best bet might be to contact one of our advertisers (I recommend the Scottish Tartans Museum) about your wedding needs.
Again, welcome to X-Marks the Scot!

KiltRental.Com
Colorado Springs is the home of KiltRental.com. Colleen is a wonderful lady who rented me my first kilt 10 years ago.
My guess is that you could even take a quick trip down for measuring, etc.
Congrats on the upcoming event!

Also try Thistle and Shamrock. I doubt they have the tartan you are looking for though.
Also, welcome from Westminster, CO.

Failing in the above, contact one of the local Scottish societies...No doubt they will help out a travelling Son...

Welcome from Southern California. I'm not familiar with the Colorado area but it probably wouldn't hurt to contact Matt Newsome here on the forum or call the Tartans museum for some advice. I'm sure they will help you get on the right track.
Anyway, congratulations and welcome to the US!
