Attention Middle Tennessee Kilties
This Saturday the 27th, there will be a Celtic Festival held on the David Lipscomb campus. I will be there hosting a tent for Clan Barclay. I believe the festival will be near the high school on Granny White Blvd. It will be from 9am to 4pm. They haven't given out a lot of details, but this will be the only Scottish event in middle Tennessee this year as the Tennessee Highland Games are on hiatus.
The festival is being put on by Keltae, the student celtic society at the university. I'm sure it will be fun. If I get more information, I will post it here.

Woah! This is the first I heard about it. Is this taking the place of the now defunked Nashville games?

Not really. I think they would like to, but they will need a lot help if that is their intention. I don't expect a large crowd. I haven't seen any advertising of any kind and they haven't given out much information. I only know about it because the main organizer was at the Glasgow, KY games.
I know it was short notice. I should have posted something earlier, but it just slipped.

Do we have any idea what venues or events will be offered? I may venture over there and check it out.

I hope you have a good time there. Do go by the Barclay booth & meet my good friend Heath. I can't make it this time around, but he is setting me up with info for next year.

I know I'll see Heathbar in Jackson, TN November 1. Photoguy67 - I hope to see you as well. I already know it'll be bigger than the Lipscome event.
Maybe someone from the collage will be at Jackson & they can get some advise on how to prepare for next year. Middle Tennessee needs SOMETHING.
