Thank you, pdcorlis. Those are the Lewis kilt hose by the way.

Not sure if you can see it, but I have been using a pocket watch since I was thirteen or so, and I have the chain across the front of the waistcoat from one pocket to the other.

Anyway, that is what that chain is if you notice it.
