    St Davids Day

It was St Davids Day yesterday and the annual march took place to celebrate the Patron Saint of Wales. So here a load of pics from the event. After it finished, our fiddle player in the band who also teaches Tango dancing invited us to one of her Tango partys back in town.
It wasnt the usual early start for our adventures so we took to the bus by mid morning, to meet up with the others

Its a long walk, so we took on fuel at a Lloyds/Wetherspoons garage

Then we headed to the start of the march.

    There were bands tuning up

And people arriving in all types o fashion to celebrate ....

An amazing set of very atmospheric images there, Derek. Don't you just love the football supporter in the dragon kilt - he's great! I recognised the route of the march, having previously done much of it on foot, and the rest on the bus, with Elaine and you. The area around the Millennium Centre and The Senedd were familiar to me too (as well as being the ground level covering to the underground 'Torchwood' HQ!!).

    Take care,
    Ham.
