It's been asked b4 I'm sure, what about the shirt?
I currently only have a UK, but a SWK Standard is on the way. The first wearing of my UK (black) was with a white polo shirt, white socks and black boots. I think it looked good. Second wearing I had a black t-shirt (tucked in of course) and now last week a white t-shirt.
I am looking for advice on shirts that will look good on a MOS with a black UK and SWK Nightstalker. Dickies, two tone, solid polos, etc?

Here's a thread that has links to a number of traditional shirts suitable for wearing with kilts.

Whoo-hoo! Finally, a thread I started has been recommended to someone else! Now I feel like a part of th community instead of some nosey big-head (even if that's not true). Cheers, and thanks for the referral.

You're welcome, Fit2BKilted. I really appreciated that thread. I've been here for a while, and have generally worn either t-shirts or other regular shirts with my kilt because too many of the "kilt" shirts look like costumes to me. I was happy to see alternatives that were kilt appropriate without looking like a re-enactment of Braveheart (apologies to Braveheart fans)

What are those safari type shirts with the epaulets on the shoulders, aren't they pilots shirts or something?
Try L.L. Bean -- my "safari" shirt came from them.

If you have a Clan connection some have nice golf shirts in many colors with the clan badge on the chest, those are nice!

A nice rugby always works. I wear a button down with french points for a little dressier approach. I like the dark Henley t's as well! JMHO
