albannach in Piqua, Oh
I just saw that they will be in Piqua for the Heritage festival over Labor Day weekend. Admission to the festival is $2 IIR, and you can park at the mall and ride the bus to the festival. You can even camp there if you have period clothes
We need to organize a meetup for it, especially if I get moved from where I am now and can use the opportunity to really drive home that kilts are ok. Or send her over the edge. Either way, great times!

I'll be there with my brother. Though, no kilt for me - sorry - I'll be wearing my Civil War uniform as I have the last seven years. But my brother plans to wear his. Perhaps I'll see some of you there.

It doesn't look good for me to be able to camp, since my "4 11/12" yo doesn't want to, and my wife said no way in hell do I escape for an entire 3 day weekend and stick her with the kids. I'm a stay at home dad, I handle them most of the time anyways.
Should we organize some form of meetup time/date and such?
(BTW, where are you from Joel? Are you the same Joel that used to play AD&D with Matt Sullivan?)

That's too bad...but family must always come first.
But I'm not the same Joel you're thinking of. I'm not familiar with AD&D or Matt Sullivan. Though, that name does set off a few bells for some reason.
As for where I'm from, I live just South of the boarder of where Montgomery, Miami and Darke County meet. Near the village of Phillipsburg.
