Ladies and Gents:
The recent discussion of doing something to mark the hour of Retro Red's memorial service got me thinking about this:

What if, on a certain day and and at a certain time (in your local time zone) we all did something, such as raise a toast to X-Marks or play a tune or toss a caber or something like that? For example, at 6 pm on Saturday we could all toast the Mods. Then we'd all post to a thread to verify that we had done whatever it was.

My first idea is for Friday 11 September. To remember the lives lost 8 years ago, let's all play "Amazing Grace" at 6 pm (1800 hrs) in your local time. If you're not a 'piper, use a CD or YouTube or whatever is available to you.
