Sorry it's been a while since I posted. Things have gotten a trifle hectic around here!

Anyway, I figured I'd pass along the Jacksonville St. Andrew's Society events calendar. If you're in the neighborhood for any of these, please stop in and make our acquaintance!

As to upcoming events, these are currently scheduled:

August 14, 2010--Anniversary Tea

11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's by the Sea Episcopal Church 465 11th Avenue North, Jacksonville Beach. Come and join us for relaxing afternoon tea. Please bring hors d’oeuvres or a dessert to share. Board members please arrive by 10:00 am.

September 18, 2010--Informal Gathering

7:00 pm at O' Brother's Irish Pub in five points. Join us for an evening of fun and friendship at O'Brothers. 1521 Margaret St. Jacksonville, FL 32204.

October 23, 2010--First Annual Tartan Ball

The German-American Club of Jacksonville, 4165 Lakeside Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32210.

October 24, 2010--A Kirkin' in Palatka
St. James Methodist Church, 400 Reid Street, Palatka. 5:00 pm.

November 14, 2010-- Kirkin' of the Tartans
First Presbyterian Church, 118 East Monroe Street, Jacksonville Florida 32202, 8:30 am.

November 21, 2010--Evensong at St John's Cathedral

256 East Church Street, Jacksonville. 5:00 pm.

Another excellent Kirkin last night. Good haggis, too. If anyone is in northeast Florida this time of year I highly recommend dropping in to the Palatka service.
