    Talking Upcoming Houston Area Events

Feburary 15th, 2009 Noon , The 2008 St.Andrews Celtic Festival at St.Andrews Episcopal Church in the Heights. This is a great little Celtic gathering, with food , fun, and music for the whole family. http://www.saintandrewsepiscopal.org...-festival-2009

Exclamation Houston Tartan Day April 6th

On Sunday, April 5th, at Noon there will be a Texas Tartan Day Celebration in Austin on the steps of the State Capital.

On Monday, April 6th, we will have a Tartan Day Memorial Celebration from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the San Jacinto Monument in honor of all those of Scottish ancestry who fought for Texas independence.

Visit the website for more information and directions; http://www.sanjacinto-museum.org/ . There is a "veterans roll" listed on the website - see if you have any direct relatives who fought.
