bow tie source
Here is a great source for you bow tie seekers. They are not cheap, but there is a nice clearance section, with ties as cheap as $20 when you buy three. Be sure to see the one with the leaves on it
They also have ties and accessories made in the Carolina Tartan, to wear with your Carolina Tartan kilt or otherwise...

they have other accessories like handkerchief and watch straps, too. Very interesting, MacLowlife.

Very nice! I like that you can choose from different shapes/widths. Most bow ties I see are the 2-1/2" wide style, which is a little too wide for me. But the "Jackson" 1-3/4" style seems more like what I'm looking for.

Re: bow tie source
Very interesting indeed, thanks for sharing. I am entirely too fond of my Ben Silver and Brooks Brothers bow and neck ties to really 'branch out' to any other retailer, thanks again though!
Cheers,

Re: bow tie source
These guys are actually wholesalers- the ties have the R Hanauer label and they are in mens shops all over- but the web allows them to have a retail presence, too. Some of their other accessories are made from the same fabric as the ties. I think the rest are items that Mr H sells in his wholesale manufacturer's rep business.
Thanks to its proximity to Charlotte, Fort Mill has recently swelled to 10,000 inhabitants, but it is still a pretty small place.
No comments on the "Hemp Yourself" pattern?

I've purchased a few ties from them. They are quick and reliable from what I've experienced. And, they have some interesting ties.

Oh … the watch straps are for wrist watches, I guess. I was thinking of the pocket watches.
There's a bunch of different pocket squares though: still going through them.

Comparable in price and more selection is The BowTie club. Ive been very happy with thieir products and service. Ties can be had either pre-tied or regular.

Re: bow tie source
Takes me back to my days as a pediatrician---used to have to wear a tie and nice shirt with our long white coats. The bowtie was not only popular among older pediatricians, those whom we chose to emulate, but also was a wise choice since a regular long tie was constantly getting in the way, getting soiled, or getting grabbed by an unruly tike at all the wrong times.
Not as keen on them as I was back then, but may have to add a couple to the fold for that occasion where I think I need just a bit more flair in the outfit. Thanks for the link.
