I need a good fast source for kilt straps and buckels. Anyone got a good supplier. I tried searching the internet but I am looking for a 'good' reliable source. Thanks, Richard-
Richard, Stillwater Kilts store sells straps and buckles under misc items. http://pro.channeladvisor.com/storef...d=55973&mpid=1 Dale

http://www.highlandxpress.com/patterns.html 1 1/4" straps/buckles are nice.
Mowglis link is correct, in misc accessories for straps and buckles.
If you've got a farm store in the area, they often have strapping and buckles in the harness section for a good price ...
He's looking for kilt straps and buckles, not sporran straps. There's a minor misunderstanding, no biggie.;)

I've got sporran straps on my mind because I've got a Freelander coming and no straps, and I was just thinking about going to the local Tandy store to fix up something. Thanks for setting me straight.
Atwood's (a chain here) carries buckles and straps which work quite nicely for kilts - although some of what they have would work for sporrans as well, the stuff I'm talking about is 1-1.5 inches wide (typically in 1", 1.25" and 1.5" widths). The buckles are typically available in brass or nickel. They don't appear to have their catalog online, but any place that carries tack should have similar stuff. {edited because I can't spell.)
Thanks for the information guy's. I've got the dreaded kilt making bug again and I am trying to get all the parts together and discovered my 'rescued old belt' leather supply had run out so I needed 'official' straps. Will research the information. Thanks again and I'll get pictures posted after I finish. Richard-
