2016 Salado Festival and Games

Is anyone else going this year?

I am a bit late getting started, who says you have free time when you retire????

Even the hotels are booked full and I had to get a room in Belton/Temple.

I and a few friends plan to go on Sunday. From the Austin area it is an hour or less drive - no hotel problem. Are there any meeting plans?

I'll be there. It kind of slipped up on me as well this year... we got a room in Belton (at the La Quinta next to the Oxbow).

I tried them but they were all booked up, the Holiday Inn further up the road was the next one that I found that I have stayed in before.

While you are in the area, drive down the road to Austin and join our kilted group for a 3 mile run (or 1 mile walk.) A Zero Prostate Cancer event. How often have you had the chance to do a kilted run in Texas? PM me for details. 8:30 AM Saturday. You can be back in Salado for the opening of the Festival.
