Is anyone else going this year? I am a bit late getting started, who says you have free time when you retire???? Even the hotels are booked full and I had to get a room in Belton/Temple.

I and a few friends plan to go on Sunday. From the Austin area it is an hour or less drive - no hotel problem. Are there any meeting plans?
I'll be there. It kind of slipped up on me as well this year... we got a room in Belton (at the La Quinta next to the Oxbow). Looking forward to seeing you all there! SM

I'll be there both days.
While you are in the area, drive down the road to Austin and join our kilted group for a 3 mile run (or 1 mile walk.) A Zero Prostate Cancer event. How often have you had the chance to do a kilted run in Texas? PM me for details. 8:30 AM Saturday. You can be back in Salado for the opening of the Festival.
I will be returning to convene for Clan MacIntyre Association. My wife cannot come as she will be attending to her elderly mother in Ohio who is recovering from a hip fracture.
We will be there as well, with the Keith tent. Maybe we can plan a meet up for photo on Sunday this year.

That would be ok with me
