GOOD DAY, Just about every member of the commanwealth has kilted units within thier armed forces. Last Sunday I was at the new WW I National Musem, just open right here in Kansas City, Mo. In one of the displays on the various forces from the British Empire there was a kilt. I don't remeber the tartan but I do know that I have never seen it before. It was said to be from a South African unit, I think they were called The SA Scottish. Also there was a kilted unit in the American Cival War made up of mostly Scots that had settled in N.Y. City, It was part of N.Y. state malitia. I belive that they were know has the 56th New York Highlanders, they were in many of the major battles.

GOOD DAY Wes, The more people that I meet, the more that I like my dog.

Sunday night I was going caroling with some friends who were dressed in Victorian period outfits. I wore my Kilt with a PC, black tie, off-white hose and dress shoes. Hadn't even got started when a man came up to me (he was with his family), and asked the Question - with a friendly smile on his face. I smiled back and asked "Why, are you looking for a date?" He cracked up and we both shook hands and slapped each other on the back. I learned it right here, and it is good to be prepared with several replies for all forms of harassment to either turn it aside or turn it back on the person.
