I thought there was an online version of the museum, but the link from the Clan page doesn't seem to be working right now.
I really need to spend some more time over at the MacPhorum. Maybe I'll be able to finally trace the family back across the Atlantic.

They have an old Chattan banner, a large R.R.McIan print of Ghillies MacBean, the bed Prince Charlie slept in before Culloden, various ancient swords and sporrans, etc.
Welcome from a fellow from Clan Chattan.
Yes it is in Newtonmore, right along the A9. I wish I could have been at the resigning as well. My chief, Cluny was there along with Mackintosh of Mackintosh and all of the other great chiefs of the confederation of clans known collectively as Clan Chattan! Where are you located in Inverness-shire? My family ails from Kingussie, Laggan, Grantown-on-Spey, and some from Aviemore. Basically from Badenoch!

Welcome to X-marks! Great pics! I think maybe all newbies should post a couple pictures of themselves.
