I’m still trying to adjust to the time change.
While visions of one of the most beautiful places on earth still flow through my head and heart.
It was a trip of a lifetime.
My wife, who was basically going because
I wanted to do, has just said we should go back again in the next year!

Now to some kilt related activities. Being this was our first time to
Scotland we went with a tour group so we would not have deal with all the logistics.
I took my Wallace 8 yd kilt.
(By the way thanks to Phil for the great web page he has on how to pack a kilt. Worked like a charm!)

The first two days were a great deal of traveling, so I waited till we got to Inverness to wear my kilt.
When I walked into the restaurant for dinner I got a round of applause.
Then when I was at the pub one of my fellow travelers bought me a drink.
I was amazed. :o
Up until that point we had only encountered 1 kilt and that was a piper at Loch Ness.
The group was very receptive to the kilt with tons of questions.
It was a great evening.
Sitting in the pub with a group of new friends.
Enjoying a good dram of Lagavulin, a low flame in the fire place and a grand soft rain coming down.

I have a few more stories to tell, but I will save them until later. Cheers for now.
