Will this... errr... Cut it?
I'm considering accessories, for the fun of it.... I'm thinking of a sgian dubh, and I think I have it covered...
I made this from a blade blank and block of ebony a few years back, as a boot knife. The jimping and overall style were heavily sgian-spired at the time.
Here's the knife:

Here's the ugly-yet-functional sheath. Note the coat hanger clips for the shaft of a boot, or the garter on hose.

For fun, here's some detail of the mosaic pins, the jimping I did, and the Damascus pattern:

So, now that I've covered all that:
Would you use it as a casual SD?
Full tang vs rat tail tang isn't a sin, is it?
Should I make a new sheath and tuck it further in the garter?
I like it high and clipped so I can draw it and sheath it faster/easier... Even in my boot, I use this knife a lot on steaks and things...
