Dry clean new wool
I know that when I make x-kilts I have to wash the fabric before I use it to get it to shrink some. But I have 4 yards of double width 10 oz wool, do I need to take this to the dry cleaners first? I don't remember seeing anything about that in Barb's book, but thought I should check. If not I hope to start next weekend.
I made a kid's kilt out of a SWK fly plaid, It came out pretty good, so now to do a real one. My main advantage is that i have been hand sewing for years, and I am better at that than machine sewing, so that part doesn't take me as long. I am horrible at math though so that part is a challenge me.
