So quite awhile back I lamented the fact that IF I indeeed decide to indulge myself and get a tank (i'm in on the xmarks tartan) what would I wear with it???

Mr. AlanH was kind enough to take some time and actually give me a ton of suggestions and links to what he thought would make cool accessories for a kilt wearing woman. One of the things he gave me a link to was something called a hip purse
That particular purse was a bit too girly for me, but it really got me thinking. Could I substitute a leather ammo pouch for a sporran? Hrmmmmm. Than I got it in me to ask Cavscout if he might be able to fashion something custom? He thought about it, and then passed some of my ideas on to A_HAy.
A_Hay seemed to intuitively know what I was looking for. He proposed the idea of a cross between a retangular ladies clutch purse, and a familiar sporran.

So here is my Scottish neo-sporran, with Welsh dragon insignia, hand crafted by an American, while stationed in Germany. And of course we can't forget it's perfectly paired up with a Cavscout custom belt and sporran strap. Does it get any better than that????
