I had NO idea.
Be scared, very scared. There's a thread in the archive from the first time it happened to me. Took several days for the smell to completely disappear. I talked to one of the pipers from Mudmen, he told me what it was like to tour Canada with kilts and pipes that never quite dried out in a van. What a nightmare.
So that's the context of the question.
