Kilts to your health!
OK, I need to lose some weight.
There... I said it.
A few years ago, I was running 5 miles per day, working out, eating right, coaching soccer, and a lean 160lbs.
Now, the only distance I seem to run is to the 'fridge... taking the garbage out is the closest I get to working out... eat right? Hah!... I watch my daughters/newphews/grandkids play soccer from the stands... and I weigh... well, never mind.
Additionally, I have a more sedentary job... which doesn't help.
So, where am I going with this?
I'm going to make an honest effort to get back into better shape. Aside from a better diet, one of the 1st things I'm going to do is start walking/hiking again. (The wife And I enjoyed this, together, when we first met... no reason we can't enjoy it again)
This gives me an excuse to wear my kilts whilst walking/hiking. They're comfortable, give freedom of movement, and give cause for great conversations for those we meet along the way. As a bonus, I can use this as an excuse to expand my celtic wardrobe: "Honey, I'll need a few more kilts, if we're going to stick with our walking regime"
Besides, if I lose weight, I'll need new kilts, now won't I?![Wink](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
Seems like a Win-Win scenario, to me
