I don't own a SWK standard, but I do own a Thrifty SWK, and even the Thrify in my opinion is 10 times better made than the Kilt Mart kilt. I think if you're willing to spend the 10 extra dollars you'll be much happier buying a SWK kilt than a Kilt Mart Kilt. My SWK kilt has more pleats and the swish of the pleats is much nicer. I've owned my Kilt Mart MacKenzie for about 2 years and it's pretty much become my "Loaner" kilt for those friends of mine that don't have one that want something to wear. The fabric "seems" to not breath as well as the SWK kilts, and is much hotter.
On the Plus side though, If you can get KM to confirm opening the shop, you can avoid the shipping and handling, but you'll probably spend that much in GAS just going to the shop, as you would for the shipping, so might as well order online.
Sportkilt also offers the Weathered Mackenzie and it looks great. check out their site if you have a moment. The prices are good too. Good luck!
