I'd agree that it is too Red. However Don't let it stop you making a sporran .

Thanks, the comments are all appreciated. I think I'm going to go ahead and make it. The trick will be to find an appropriate gusset/trim material. A good choice there will tone down the red.

If it doesn't work when I'm done there is always a home for it with the pink bunny fur sporrans
