I was at a women's University Of Guelph basketball game yesterday and one of the male assistant coaches wore a heavy weight Black Watch kilt. What made it more unique was the salt and pepper knit knee socks matched to a heavy wool sweater. The U of Guelph has a Scottish Studies program that can be found on the internet and is supported in part by the Scotish Foundation in Toronto.
The team lost the game however. There were about 2,000 at the game and no reaction to the apparel as I could see.
