I did this kilt a couple months ago but never bothered to take any pictures since I haven't had the opportunity to wear it out anywhere yet. The pattern is actually red, green, blue and yellow on black but the blue and red are so dark that you can't see them in most light...unlike the photo of it on the ebay listing! This was also my first kilt pleated to the stripe instead of the sett. Still lots of mistakes that I learned from and hopefully won't make on future kilts! The tartan is similar to a Cameron that I've seen but I don't know if it's anything specific, just a generic wool plaid from ebay as far as I know. Oh, and the hat is also my homemade glengarry!

This is also the closest I've come to "the whole 9 yards." Because of how deep the pleats ended up being it came out to about 8 yards... a lot for a skinny guy like me. Which is why I have the glengarry instead of my usual beret in matching plaid... not enough fabric left!
