I'm no gent but I would look at a lovat green argyle.

I don't know how practical this is, but ask for a swatch of the jacket material. Even if the charge you US$20 or so, it would be a good investment, as a verbal description, or what you see on the computer screen is not an accurate guide to actual colour. I agree that the Lovat Green would be a logical choice. But you might also want to consider something more neutral, as charcoal gray.
