I agree; and really, how does it put you out to comply? After all, it is the WM's lodge. The honor of raising a brother to the Sublime Degree should far out weigh the request of being covered. You've been asked to come kilted, a fantastic request at that, so don't ruin the occasion for a fellow Brother of the Craft by having an issue on whether the "boys" are covered, or not, for the evening.
Keep it on the Level.
