First suggestion is a Utilikilt denim original. It'll arrive as stiff as new jeans used to be - and with that delicious denim fabric smell to it. Wash it about six times in a row with unscented Downy then wear it a lot and you'll soon have a kilt that is as comfie as old jeans because the denim has softened just like old jean denim softens.
Second suggestion would be any SportKilt since their cotton/poly fabric is soft like pajamas.
