Well, since you're asking, I like Jerry's SWK kilts. I think the consensus is the acrylic is a tad softer than PV (I could be wrong, and would welcome correction on this point).
I just know that I found the acrylic to be suprisingly softer than what I remember of the tank I wore in the military.
Plus, I'm terribly allergic to wool (the horror!), so it's either PV or acrylic for me anyway - at least for kilts I'm going to wear regularly. I could deal with it in the military because we only wore the kilts when we were doing ceremonial stuff.
